Join us at Art Haus Wales for our weekly Home Education Art Club, designed for home-educated children who love getting creative, learning new skills and expressing themselves through art.
Our welcoming and inclusive sessions offer a relaxed, supportive environment where children can explore a variety of artistic techniques, experiment with different materials and develop their creativity at their own pace.
Each week, we’ll explore something different, including drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture and much more!
Our sessions are about more than just making art. They’re an opportunity to build confidence, develop social skills, make friendships and enjoy learning alongside other home-educated children.
Mixed-Age Sessions
Our Home Education Art Club currently welcomes children aged 7–16 in a mixed-age group, encouraging creativity, collaboration and friendships across different ages.
As our Home Education community grows, our intention is to introduce separate age-based sessions, allowing us to tailor activities, techniques and learning opportunities to different age groups and stages of artistic development.
For now, all activities are adapted to suit individual abilities, ensuring every child feels included, supported and creatively challenged.

When: Every Thursday during term time
Time: 9:30am – 10:30am
Where: Art Haus Wales, 34 Cambrian Road, Newport
Age: currently mixed ages
Price: £10 per child, per session

No previous art experience is needed – just curiosity, imagination and a willingness to have a go!
