The weekly art session are designed to give young people the opportunity to explore, create and develop their artistic skills in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Art session are designed for student from ages 7-16 Art haus does make alllowences on ages if they are younger than the advised age please email art haus to discuss futher.

These session are designed for mixed age groups the divers of ages and abilities complements the group, as the groups grow art haus may look and splitting the art session into appropriate age groups.

Students will explore the work of different artists and their techniques while experimenting with a wide range of creative processes each week. They will work on individual projects, with all materials provided, while also being encouraged to develop their own ideas, creativity and personal style.

These sessions are ideal for students preparing to embark on their GCSE Art journey or to take that time out from there studies. The Face Behind Art Haus Wales

Bringing People Together Through Creativity & Connection an independent, artist-led creative studio and shop in the heart of Newport south wales.

My creative journey began from a young age to follow in my passion to be come an art teacher i spent many years working in education teacher art delivering community-based art projects.

I’ve always been passionate about helping people discover their creativity, build confidence and develop new skills.

For the past ten years took me on a new journey and my career took a different direction, working within charities and frontline services supporting people experiencing drug and alcohol addiction, mental health challenges and complex life circumstances.

These experiences gave me a deeper understanding of the importance of wellbeing, community and human connection, alongside the pressures of working in demanding environments.

And that’s why I created Art Haus Wales.

I wanted to bring my two worlds together: my love of art and my passion for supporting people.

My vision was simple: to create a welcoming, inclusive space where everyone, regardless of age, ability or experience, could feel comfortable exploring their creativity.

Today, Art Haus offers weekly art classes for children and adults of all ages and abilities, creative workshops, community projects, private celebrations and workplace wellbeing experiences, working alongside talented local artists and makers.

But Art Haus is about more than just art.

It’s about building confidence, making friendships, supporting wellbeing and bringing people together through shared creative experiences.

Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time, looking for a creative outlet or planning something special, there’s a place for you here.

You don’t need to be an artist to belong at Art Haus. Just come as you are!
